College is fun but also its hard to take photos of the foods I’m having (also, the ratio of healthy vs not so healthy food has changed a bit since I left home hahaha……. I should work on that a bit. But actually I had a dream that I had lost 10kg but I think (KNOW) that was definitely just a dream hahahha). ANYWAY this photo is not from the cafeteria, obviously. My dad was in town and he took me for dinner and I had scallops with a cauliflower purée and some other vegetables ๐Ÿ˜ they were the best scallops I’ve had and especially after a month of cafeteria food (my caf is super high quality, but YA know..) it was nice to eat in a place with WHITE TABLECLOTHS haha! ๐Ÿ’•โœจ anyway, I had an amazing weekend with my dad in town. Yum. Grapes. They taste different in America. Loving college. Not being crazy or out and super social all the time but I’m happy. I can’t wait to start classes. Met some awesome people already and am surrounded by talent. It’s just such a joy, I can’t even describe it. Just struggling a bit with finding that own group of people but friends will come in time, I’m being patient and being myself ๐Ÿ’› hope you guys are having a wonderful end to your week!
Hello my dears! ๐Ÿ’• what a week. I’m sorry for not having been able to post photos but I’ve been eating so scattered-ly aahh. This was breakfast yesterday in the cafeteria, it’s been a go-to thing. ๐Ÿ’› plain porridge/oatmeal, raisins, jam, raspberries and then some fruit if there’s something good and also a cup of earl gray tea with some milk ๐Ÿ’› I’ve been very good by the way! I haven’t had soda in so long!!!!!! I’ve had one cup of Pepsi max in the past 3 weeks and it’s been wonderful. Water only! ๐Ÿ˜Ž candy-eating-avoidance has been alright, a looooot better than back home. ๐Ÿญ I’ve found one thing I love to snack on which is snap peas. They’re not AS bad as chips but I just can’t help it they are so delicious hahah. Sorry for the wall of text!!! I just had to tell you guys. I’m sorry i haven’t been very good at posting but it’s difficult cause I haven’t had a routine here. Classes start next week though, really looking forward to those ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ˜Š have a wonderful weekend everyone! ๐Ÿ˜˜
Hello my dears! โ˜€๏ธ apples picked from my apple tree at my summer house ๐Ÿ’• and so, life is changing! I’ve moved to a new city in the states to go to school in, which is crazy! I can’t wait to get started and meet new people and whatnot! That being said, I’m going to be living in a dorm and though I have a meal plan I think there is a possibility of cooking (looord do I hope there is)! I want to have good habits from the get-go, that means no soda ๐Ÿšซ! Which has been going really well anyway, only having some maybe once or twice a week now ๐Ÿ˜Ž The portions here are huge, and that’s something I definitely have to remember, that it’s okay not to finish your plate if you are full because of the large portion size… I want to stay away from the candy, the fast food and the deep-fried foods. ๐Ÿ’… but I don’t think it’s that difficult, I’m just making good choices and doing my best! ๐Ÿ˜Š I hope you all have been having a wonderful august with lots of sunny days ๐Ÿ’›โ˜€๏ธ

Delicious leftovers for lunch; stuffed bell pepper (rice, saffron, tomato, mushroom and onion) (cooked in the oven), broccoli, hummus and cucumber. Vegetarian and super good! And so super simple to make ๐Ÿ˜Š this would be awesome to make at uni cause you can wrap them up singularly for the fridge and then just throw it in the microwave. Yumyumyums and nomnomnoms all day
Awesome dinner made with my big sister ๐Ÿ˜ a bell pepper stuffed with rice (with saffron), mushroom, onion, then steamed broccoli, hummus and half an avocado. So healthy and delicious ๐Ÿ’•
Lunch was a super fusion food heheh ๐Ÿ˜ bell pepper, mushrooms, chicken (seasoned with chili-lime spice and pepper), mangetouts, I roasted some cashews myself (unsalted) on the pan, then noodles, a bit of sweet and sour sauce and lime squeezed on top ๐Ÿ˜„ so much effort but sooo good but so much food also lol.. Oh well it was delicious and yum ๐Ÿ˜Ž
Breakfast ๐Ÿ˜ 4 rye crackers (6g carbs and 37kcal each), 3/4 of an avocado spread out over them, 2 slices of Parma ham and orange bell pepper ๐Ÿ˜ sooo good. But high bloodsugar, 15.9/286 ๐Ÿ˜” woke up like 4 times during the night from thirst and having to go to the bathroom cause my bloodsugar kept staying high even though I corrected it ๐Ÿ˜‘ vicious cycle
Huge breakfast…. An apple, half a banana, cereal and cashews ๐Ÿ˜… so hot here in Finland too, I think I’m dying oh lords
This was breakfast a few hours ago; fitness cereal (3g of sugar per serving), a banana cut up into super thin slices and some cashews. Good stuff โ˜€๏ธ have an amazing day everyone ๐Ÿ˜Š

Frozen yogurt with my girl โ˜€๏ธ went a little crazy with all the fruit but it was sooo good ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Š
